The East Manjimup Primary School Board has endorsed the schedule of contributions and charges for 2019. The schedule is broken into two sections and will allow you to calculate all costs that you might incur throughout the school year.

The total amount of voluntary contributions parents and carers are asked to pay is $45:00 per student, Year K to Year 6 and is well under the $60:00 per student maximum limit set in the School Education Regulations 2000.

Money collected is used to supplement school expenditure in the areas listed and to supplement the cost of student workbooks including Origo Maths, New Wave Mental maths and Sound Waves Spelling. While contributions are voluntary it is important to understand that these funds are used to maximise the quality of our teaching and learning programs.

* Total Cost per student (contributions) - $45:00

A breakdown of estimated charges for your child’s participation in incursions, excursions, activities etc. for 2019 has been included in the attached grid. Students will only incur costs when they are involved in a particular activity. The school has an expectation that all students attend events as they occur on a user pays basis. The amounts indicated on the grid represent the maximum that may be charged for scheduled activities in 2019. As in the past you will be asked to make payment for each activity as it approaches.

* Total Cost per student (extra cost options) – between $50:00 (Kindy) - $848:00 (Year 6)

**Please refer to specific year group to calculate estimated maximum cost.

**Payment for charges and contributions can be made by regular instalments or extended over a period if necessary. Please make arrangements through the school office.

The School Board has also endorsed the Personal Items List for 2019, which has been reviewed this year to ensure uniformity across year levels

Finally! If there are any issues relating to contributions and charges or the personal item list please get in touch with me.

Yours sincerely
